G.I. Joe by Joe Pekar

ok, so technically the Baroness is with Cobra.

Snake-Eyes managed to sneak himself into the picture though, so it fits the theme...right?

Next Week's Subject: G.I. Joe

I've been wanting to do this one since the beginning of the blog and I guess I finally wore Gene down! He agreed to the theme, so check back on Wednesday to see if your favorite gets drawn! (of course you can probably guess which characters will be drawn, but it's fun to pretend isn't it? ;))

Geisha Girl by Gene Gonzales

Art © 2012 Gene Gonzales

I thought I would do something different for this weeks subject and just work in pencil. I don't do that enough. After I finished it I was happy with it. That is until I saw what Joe posted. :)

Decided to go back to watercolors this week, since it's been mostly copic markers for a while now.
Hope you guys like (even though she's not a red head!).

Next Week's Subject: Geisha Girls!

Always a favorite subject of mine to draw, next week we'll have Geisha girls stopping by for a visit.
So check back on Wednesday to see what we come up with. (Can I work a red head into next week's theme? we'll see...) :)

My contribution to the space girl theme this week. I've been on a retro kick lately so I call this "Space Girl, 1968"

Ink, Copics, acrylic paint on 9" x 12" Strathmore Bristol Board.

I don't think all aliens are mean and dangerous. Some just want a hug! :)
